Now, what if we told you that this can be done in a much simpler, better, and more exciting way?
Meet a sure-shot success recipe: Appointo-Zoom integration that provides effortless virtual meetings for team members to connect without any geographical and time constraints.
Appointo is one of the most popular appointment scheduling applications on Shopify that has made it super easy for online stores to have an automated scheduling system. It is considered to be one of the best tools to shift your business appointments to an auto-pilot mode. Appointo minimizes the need for physical meetings, and the customers can conveniently execute their meetings from the comfort of their homes.
Appointo comes with a truckload of enticing features like automated email confirmations, reminders, a 24/7 booking facility, calendar syncing, and customizable booking rules that reduce no-shows and save time and cost. The cherry on the cake is the Zoom and Appointo integration facility that allows the customers to book an appointment and execute the meeting on Zoom through Appointo itself. So, no switching of apps, no jumping from this tab to that, your meeting is scheduled with an auto-generated Zoom link that allows you to execute the meeting and customers to attend it.
Here’s a step-by-step process to integrate Zoom with Appointo
First, navigate to the Team Members login portal and fill in your credentials; your email ID, and your password. This grants you access to the Dashboard. In the Dashboard, you have to look for the Integration tab, click on it, and scroll down.
- You will find the Zoom Integration option. If you look closely, you will find ‘Not Connected’ beside the Zoom Connection status label. Right beside it, click on the "Add to zoom" button to connect your Zoom account.
- After this step, you can automatically create Zoom links for appointments. This will also grant permission to your account.
- Again get back to the Dashboard and look for the Integration tab, click on it and scroll down. You will find your name and email beside the Zoom Integration label.
- Also, you get to see that your account has been connected with Zoom with an active ‘Connected’ tag beside the Zoom Connection status label.
Integration done! Now, you have to assign a product or service that would be available to be discussed over Zoom. When a customer purchases an appointment for that product/service, a Zoom link will be automatically generated and would be shared with the confirmation email.

- Select “Zoom” from the dropdown option available and click on the ‘Save and Close” button.
Once the Zoom set-up is done for the product, click on the ‘View in store’ button that opens in a new tab. Here on, view it the way your customer sees it.
- The 'Schedule your time’ button appears right below the Product Name label. You can change the name of the Product according to your preference.
- From here your client can schedule a time as per their choice, click on the “Add to cart” button, and then click on the “Check out” button.
- Next, they enter their contact information along with the billing address details, click on the ``Continue payment" button and finally click on ‘Complete order’.
This takes them to the order confirmation page where they can either proceed to "Continue shopping" or stop right here.
In the appointment confirmation email that is auto-triggered once the slot is booked, a Zoom meeting link would be auto-incorporated. The client can simply click on the link and get to see the details regarding the appointment date and time and attend the meeting from the same link as per the schedule. These details of the meeting shall also be visible in your client’s Zoom account.
